The Construction Manager as Agent:
Intersection of Economic vs Insurance Risks

Owners and construction managers aim to balance the economic risks associated with the construction budget, subcontractor default, and delay costs against the amount of the construction managers' fees. By lowering these economic risks through "as agent" contracts, owners can reduce construction management costs. However, construction managers are often blindsided by unexpected and unfunded insurance risks that arise. This webinar will clarify the various "CM as Agent" contracts and provide practical strategies for managing the full spectrum of risks.
