What is the difference between comments and notes?
The COI details page contains several features to leave notes or comments. Here is the difference between each feature.
The COI details page contains three different types of notes/comments:
- Comments: live side panel used for direct communication about the request with the subcontractor or their agent.
- Internal notes: notes internal to the General Contractor. Used by insurance review teams to communicate specificities of the request internally.
- Project notes: side panel shortcut to the notes left on the project details page. This allows insurance review teams to access project information directly from the COI details page.
