How do I add another user to an existing contract?

Please note: this can only be done if the contract is in Draft or Sent status.

If the contract is in Draft status:

1. Navigate to the Contracts module. If the contract is in Draft status, you can click the three dots on the right next to the contract and click Edit.

 

2a. Click into the counterpart box to open the list of users at that company. Select the correct person from the list.

2b. If the user does not appear in the list, click out of that box and click the Add user button.

Type in the new user's email address and then click the plus sign (+) on the right to add them.

 

3. Click Save.

 

If the contract is in Sent status:

1. Navigate to the Contracts module. Open the contract you'd like to add another counterpart to by clicking on it. Then click the three dots in the upper right corner. Then click Edit counterpart from the list of options that appear.

 

2a. Check the box next to the name of the person you'd like to add.

 

2b. If the person's email does not appear, type their email into the box and click the plus sign (+).

 

3. Click Save.

 

Note: if you are unable to add a user or get an error message, it is likely because this user already exists in our system in another company account. Please contact support to resolve.
